Fans of “Germany’s Next Top Model” usually don’t get to see their new favorites until spring. This year there will be a surprise in autumn.
Months before the new season of “Germany’s Next Top Model” airs, the ProSieben audience gets to see Heidi Klum’s new protégés. The model mom is a guest on the show “The Duel Around the World – Team Joko vs. Team Klaas” this Saturday at 8:15 p.m. and is bringing her new applicants for the show victory with her – disguised by dark hoodies and sunglasses. The application deadline for the 20th season to be broadcast next year expired at the end of August.
“Huge surprise for Joko Winterscheidt and Klaas Heufer-Umlauf,” said ProSieben. “Suddenly Heidi Klum and her new GNTM candidates are standing live in the (…) studio in front of the two opponents. What does Heidi Klum plan to do with her models?” It was shot in the Bavaria Studios in Munich.
In the new episode “The Duel Around the World”, Joko Winterscheidt and Klaas Heufer-Umlauf send musicians Nico Santos (Italy), Twitch streamer Papaplatte (Austria), presenter Gülcan Kamps (France) and mentalist Timon Krause (Thailand) to new crazy ones adventures. “Who will overcome the global challenges and secure valuable country points for their team?” Joko and Klaas play for additional points on the way to becoming world champion. Jeannine Michaelsen leads the duel evening.
