Mike Heiter and Leyla Lahouar appear on the red carpet for the first time since their TV engagement.
Leyla Lahouar (28) and Mike Heiter (32) celebrated their first public appearance after their engagement on live TV on Thursday. The 32-year-old asked his partner the question of all questions when they took part in “Celebrity Big Brother” together. At the Bunte New Faces Awards in Berlin, the two couldn’t keep their hands off each other. They posed in love for the cameras – kisses included.
Lahouar dazzled in a strapless silver dress with a high leg slit and white feathers along the length of the skirt. She also wore transparent high heels and thin hanging earrings. She styled her hair in a high ponytail. Heiter opted for a black shirt jacket over a white shirt and completed his casual look with loose trousers and sneakers.
“A great feeling”
For Heiter, appearing together for the first time after the marriage proposal was “a great feeling,” as he said in the RTL interview. However, both are “a bit overwhelmed”. Lahouar is doing “great” after the engagement. “I can’t complain,” she said, emphasizing that she now feels “completely different,” even more connected.
According to Heiter, the application was originally planned “for next year, not in the container”. Nevertheless, he accepted big brother’s suggestion in the last live show before the finale. “I thought, ‘Why not?! Let’s just do it!'” he recalled. Heiter doesn’t rule out kneeling in front of Lahouar again in private.
Is there a TV wedding?
Does a TV wedding follow the proposal on TV? Leyla doesn’t seem averse to it. “It would be possible. Let’s see if something comes along,” she told spot on news shortly after her “Celebrity Big Brother” victory.
Lahouar and Heiter met at this year’s jungle camp and have been a couple ever since. While she narrowly missed out on the crown in season 17, she emerged as the winner of “PBB.” Her fiancé secured fifth place in the container and the jungle.
