Altman Messages
On October 21, Altman shared a message on X that sparked interpretations among users: “Wow, ChatGPT’s second birthday is next month!” Shortly after, he posted: “What should we give as a birthday gift?” These comments led many to think that a new product would be introduced on the anniversary date of ChatGPT, originally launched on November 30, 2022.
In a previous post on September 14, Altman had mentioned his excitement over the appearance of “the winter constellations,” a clear reference to the constellation Orion, which is most visible between November and February. This increased theories about Orion’s name and launch date.
