It has been revealed that blondie will release a new album sometime next year. Blondie co-founder, guitarist and photographer, Chris Steintook to her official Instagram account to share a black and white photo of the leader Debbie Harry sitting in the studio. The caption of the photo said: “New Blondie album next year”confirming that the legendary new wave group will release a new work in 2025.
No further details such as the release date, album title, singer or album art have been revealed yet.

The band’s last full-length release was “Pollinator” 2017. The album marked their eleventh studio LP and featured TV On The Radio’s Dave Sitek, Charli XCX, Sia, Dev Hynes and Johnny Marr as collaborators in the composition of the songs.
They also participated in “Pollinator” Joan Jett and Laurie Anderson as guests on the topic “Doom Or Destiny”while The Gregory Brothers appeared in the topic “When I Gave Up On You”. The album was recorded at the famous New York recording studio The Magic Shopwhich is where David Bowie recorded his last album “Blackstar”.
