The Swiss Argentine Chamber of Commerce (CCSA), with the support of the Swiss Embassy in Buenos Aires, carried out the presentation of the winning projects of its Positive Actions 2024 competition.
The Swiss Argentine Chamber of Commerce (CCSA) awarded this week the winners of the fourth edition of the contest “Positive Actions”intended to recognize and give visibility to those large companies, individuals, SMEs and entities that have generated a positive impact on society in general.

The company Holcim, winner of the comprehensive award in the large companies category, presented her positive volunteer action for the reforestation of areas with native species.


Meanwhile, the Municipality of San Isidro and the civil association Special Olympics Argentina, Both winners in the large public organizations and institutions category also presented their actions. The San Isidro Disability area told about the project The Orchardists with a focus on inclusion and employability, and Special Olympics presented the Unified Schools project that promotes inclusion by bringing together young people with and without disabilities.
The event took place at the residence of the Swiss ambassador to Argentina, Hans Rüedi Bortiswhere a lunch and subsequent press conference were held.
In addition to the ambassador, the president of the CCSA, Fernando Bekes, members of the CCSA Environment Commission, directors of member companies of the Chamber and Swiss consuls.
Rüedi Bortis highlighted the cooperation between the embassy, the CCSA and the Federation of Swiss Associations in Argentina (Fasra) to ensure that Positive Actions reach the entire country, while Bekes highlighted the success of the contest every year, announcing that they are already working on next year’s edition.
