This time Heidi Klum is also taking part in the “Earthshot Prize Awards”. She supports Prince William in Cape Town.
Model and TV presenter Heidi Klum (51) is one of the celebrities supporting Prince William (42) at this year’s “Earthshot Prize” award ceremony.
When the five winners of the environmental protection award are announced on November 6th in Cape Town, South Africa, Klum will be there with actress Nina Dobrev (35), among others. Rapper Tobe Nwigwe (37) and model Winnie Harlow (30) also support Prince William, it is said.
“As someone who uses my platform to advocate for a better future for our children, I am deeply inspired by the Earthshot Prize’s ambition to find and support solutions for a healthy planet,” Klum said, according to People an explanation. “I’m thrilled to be part of the incredible evening the Earthshot Awards is putting on to celebrate innovators and encourage our youth to be part of building a better future.”
“Vampire Diaries” star Dobrev added: “As someone who cares deeply about the health of our oceans, I was very inspired to see that the Earthshot Prize is focused on finding solutions in Africa and around the world “Find things that will help protect these vital ecosystems for future generations.”
Five winners will be celebrated
Prince William’s Earthshot Prize aims to celebrate groundbreaking ideas and innovations to save our planet, recognizing people and companies in five key categories: protecting and restoring nature, cleaning the air, revitalizing the oceans, building a waste-free world and improving the climate. Each winner receives the equivalent of around 1.2 million euros and thus the necessary support to realize their ideas.
It is the fourth edition of the awards ceremony, after the first prizes were awarded in London in 2021, Boston in 2022 and Singapore in 2023. The awards ceremony will announce the winners from the 15 finalists William announced in September.
