France mourns the loss of one of its film stars: Gaspard Ulliel (1984-2022) died at the age of 37. The actor had a serious accident while skiing in the French ski resort of La Rosière in Savoy and succumbed to his injuries in hospital. His family confirmed this to the AFP news agency.
Ulliel was an internationally known actor. He is best known for his leading roles in the movies “Mathilde – Eine Große Liebe” (2004) and “Hannibal Rising – How it all began” (2007). His career as an actor started early. He auditioned for his first television role when he was just eleven years old.
Won multiple awards
During his career he was honored with several awards, including the French film award César for his role in “Mathilde – Eine Große Liebe”. Ulliel most recently starred in the Marvel Cinematic Universe sci-fi action series Moon Knight, scheduled to air March 30 on Disney+.
