The president drew attention on the networks when he compared himself to a new version of the famous superhero. From DC they denied the relationship.

Javier Milei compared himself to a new version of Superman.

President Javier Milei made a curious post on social networks in which he was awarded a similarity with superman, after a user pointed out an assumption similar with the reversal of superhero in the new Absolute edition. “Neighborhood phenomenon,” he said. A DC scriptwriter denied the relationship and mocked it.

Accustomed to using his “X” account, the president reposted the publication of @ASB2509, who noted: “DC launches the new Absolute Superman line 100% inspired by Javier Milei”. The comment was accompanied by an image of the comic that will go on sale on November 6, in which the Man of Steel is seen with new features.

The president was not far behind and took advantage of the moment to get on the comparison and respond with his classic libertarian message: “Neighborhood phenomenon. Long live fucking freedom.”

Although certain similarities can be found with the new image of Superman, particularly his hair, the truth is that nothing could be further from the truth. The new superhero, from Krypton, is not from a wealthy class family on that planet but, on the contrary, has his roots in the working class.

The user @superpibaAR pointed out to Gail Simone, company screenwriter D.C., about Milei comparison. “Help. Our totally psychotic president thinks DC made a Superman comic inspired by him”he told him. The star editor of several Wonder Woman comics responded with surprise: “Wait, what?” (“Wait, what?”).

Even though another user tried to defend the president by stating that Milei did not think the comic was inspired by him, Simone did not believe him. “I guarantee you that the character is not based on the Argentine president,” he later assured.

They also reminded him that one of the pastimes of leader was to dress like a superhero which he called Captain AnCap (AnarchoCapitalist). Milei’s image surprised the screenwriter, who responded with a “Weird”, which is usually translated as “Strange” or “Weird”.
