“Friends” star Matthew Perry died a year ago. His good friend Jennifer Aniston remembers him with moving photos.
It’s been a whole year since the actor and “Friends” star Matthew Perry (1969-2023) died. Jennifer Aniston (55) to her series colleague and good friend.
“One year,” writes Aniston and publishes four recordings on the platform. The first picture shows the duo in the early “Friends” days, the second shows a scene from the cult sitcom in which he is giving her a kiss on the forehead. The other two photos show Perry laughing and the entire “Friends” main cast – Lisa Kudrow (61), David Schwimmer (57), Courteney Cox (60) and Matt LeBlanc (57) alongside Perry and Aniston.

Shortly after his death, she shared how much Aniston will miss Perry. Her “Matty” loved making people laugh. “As he said himself, he thought he would die if he didn’t hear the ‘laughter.’ His life literally depended on it. And boy, did he do just that. Meanwhile, a special action is called for. Fans should share their favorite “Friends” moments from the actor in the comments. Both Aniston and the series account also point out the work of the Matthew Perry Foundation, which aims to help people fighting addiction.
“Today we honor Matthew and his mission, which lives on through the foundation,” it says. “Matthew knew that no one should face the disease of addiction alone. His life was dedicated to helping those suffering find healing and hope.”
Matthew Perry, best known for his role as Chandler Bing on “Friends,” was found dead in Los Angeles on October 28, 2023. He died at the age of 54. The coroner’s office determined that Perry’s death was caused primarily by “acute effects” of ketamine.
