Superstar with severe ear pain
At a concert in Las Vegas, singer Adele reported an ear infection that almost brought her to the brink of insanity.
The British singer Adele (36) is currently completing her last shows at the “Caesars Palace” in Las Vegas after completing ten concerts in a row in the Bavarian capital Munich in August. As she revealed to her fans during one of her appearances, she got a bad ear infection in Bavaria, which was one of the most painful experiences of her life.
“It was worse than giving birth”
Adele said at her recent “Weekends With Adele” appearance in the American desert and entertainment city: “I have an ear infection, which is pretty bad.” And she added: “I’ve never had one before. It’s the most painful thing that’s ever happened to me – it was worse than giving birth.”
The pain occurred shortly after her concert series in Munich. The fact that her suffering dragged on afterwards was mainly due to the wrong medication initially. “I was given the wrong antibiotics for a few days,” said the singer, “then they managed to give me one that started to work.” The whole thing was really bad: “I wanted to chop off my ear a few times.”
However, she is no longer in pain, which makes her very happy, although she is still “a bit deaf” in her left ear. Nevertheless, it would never have occurred to her to cancel the “damned show” and disappoint her fans. After all, she can still sing.
