With “Breakfast at Tiffany’s” Audrey Hepburn became a fashion icon: her look can also be interpreted in a modern way, as Diane Kruger proves.
Audrey Hepburn (1929-1993) from “Breakfast at Tiffany’s” sends greetings: Diane Kruger (48) was obviously inspired by the classic film from the 60s for her look at this year’s “Harper’s Bazaar Women of the Year Awards” in Madrid.

The German actress entered the red carpet in an elegant dress in a delicate rosé tone. The cut of the dress was based on Hepburn’s iconic look, but Kruger’s chosen hairstyle, makeup and jewelry were more referenced. The hairstyling with short micro bangs and an elegant French twist updo was a clear reference to the film, and she also wore the iconic eyeliner and diamond-studded jewelry from Tiffany.
Diane Kruger linked the traditional jewelry company from New York City and enthused: “These diamonds.” In another story, she posted a close-up of her makeup and linked to her stylists of the evening: “Glam was on point tonight.”
On Monday evening (October 28th), the German actress was able to accept the award in the “Entertainment Film” category at the awards ceremony in Spain – “although there is no doubt that Diane also has a great influence on the world of fashion, her style is unmistakable and their ability to reinvent themselves is always remarkable,” it says. In total, nine women were honored by the Spanish edition of the fashion magazine.
