Davina and Shania Geiss probably don’t have to worry financially. Nevertheless, they are already thinking about their pension, they reveal in the interview.
Robert Geiss (60) and his wife Carmen (59) are one of the best-known entrepreneurial couples in the country. The family has just launched something new again: With “Skull Liquid”, you can now also buy spring water from the Geissens, in a stylish can and with a skull design. The ideas for their products come to globetrotters on their many travels, says Robert Geiss in an interview with spot on news.
After they have already brought alcoholic products onto the market with their own wine and liqueur Tropézienne, “we should now come up with something healthy,” says the entrepreneur. In addition to a pure version, the water is also available with vitamins, caffeine and collagen. That’s a good idea, after all, “we’re now slowly getting to the age where we need a little more collagen. So we’re drinking a little more water now.”
Everything has to be “100 percent Geiss”.
Their water is “100 percent Geiss,” emphasizes Carmen Geiss. It is important to her to only sell products that she likes and uses. Everything that the family promotes is tested in advance: “There are a lot of influencers who simply advertise everything because the fans believe them. I think that’s such a shame, so that doesn’t come into our bag.”
The TV family is active in many areas. Since 2011, they have been accompanied in their everyday luxury life by RTLzwei in the documentary soap “Die Geissens”. Do the numerous jobs sometimes become too much for you? “Well, I would just say, it never gets boring here,” sums up daughter Davina Geiss (21).
Always keep an eye on your pension
Robert emphasizes that everyone in the Geiss family works together “hand in hand,” and that is the secret. He and Carmen are currently still fit enough to handle everything – but at some point they want to slow down and leave the field to their children Davina and Shania (20). “We hope that our children will become good entrepreneurs and not failures. We pray for that,” says Carmen with a laugh.
Davina Geiss sees no problem with this. After all, she, who has been in front of the camera since she was seven, is already thinking about her future. “We’ve been working for a really long time. We want to retire with peace of mind at some point,” she emphasizes. Papa Robert can only laugh about that. “The children are already thinking about retirement. In fact, they have practically only just started to create and get one or two things together.”
