Ties are moving from men’s to women’s fashion this fall. The trendy accessory is suitable for classic and rock looks.
Until now, ties have been a must for men on festive occasions. This fall they are now conquering the female fashion world and opening up a variety of style options. Whether tied tightly or worn casually: this it-piece will adorn the neck of every fashion-savvy woman in 2024.
Courage for masculinity
Black suit, white shirt and black tie: This look doesn’t just suit men. On Instagram, for example, fashion influencer Millane Friesen (22) showed off such a classic outfit to her followers. The centerpiece of the combination was the skinny tie, which she tied loosely around the collar of her shirt. Friesen had an oversized suit jacket casually draped over her shoulders. She styled her medium-length hair in a sleek look, rounding off the style inspired by men’s fashion.
Preppy chic with a tie
The tie also goes well with a schoolgirl outfit. For the ensemble in trendy preppy chic, we chose a special example. Unlike commercial ties, this one was woven from wool instead of fine threads. Two bright buttons held the diagonal striped tie to the equally fluffy cream sweater. Its waistband, sleeves and the suggested V-collar picked up on the dark colors of the it-piece. A black pleated skirt completed the well-behaved outfit.
Cheeky stage outfit
Nobody can be fooled when it comes to fashion. The singer put together a cheeky outfit for a concert in Portugal. With a white shirt and a wide black tie, she chose not a blazer but a black leather jacket. Oversized sunglasses provided another highlight. The tight leather shorts in bright turquoise were a successful splash of color. Together with a black leather belt, the trousers fit perfectly into the rock style.
