The former Republican governor of California took to X on Wednesday morning to share a lengthy post about who he supports in the high-stakes election.
Schwarzenegger’s message in support of Kamala Harris
Schwarzenegger began by explaining that he “hates” politics and that he does not usually make the decision to support anyone in elections. He noted that he doesn’t like either party at this time and that while he would like to not pay attention to it, he can’t do so at this time.
“Because rejecting the results of an election is the most un-American thing imaginable.”said about the refusal of donald trump to admit he lost the 2020 election. “For someone like me, who talks to people all over the world and still knows that America is the shining city on a hill, calling America a dumping ground for the world is so unpatriotic that It makes me furious.”
He continued: “I will always be an American rather than a Republican. That’s why this week I’m voting for Kamala Harris and Tim Walz.. I share it with all of you because I believe there are many of you who feel the same way I do. They do not recognize our country. And they are right to be furious.”
The actor went on to write that “a candidate who will not respect your vote unless it is for him, a candidate who will send his followers to storm the Capitol while he watches with a Diet Coke, a candidate who has not demonstrated the ability to work to pass any policy besides a tax cut that helped his donors and other rich people like me but didn’t help anyone else, a candidate who thinks Americans who disagree with him are bigger enemies than China, “Russia or North Korea, that will not solve our problems.”
He continued to criticize Trump, noting that if he were elected again, “It would just be four more years of nonsense with no results. that would make us angrier, more divided, and more hateful. “We need to close the door on this chapter in American history, and I know former President Trump will not do that.”
The star of Terminator He emphasized that another Trump presidency would see the convicted felon find new ways to be even more “un-American” than he already has been, which is why he decided to share his vote publicly.
“I want to move forward as a country,” he said, “and although I have many disagreements with their platform, I think the only way to do it is with Harris and Walz”.

I don’t really do endorsements. I’m not shy about sharing my views, but I hate politics and don’t trust most politicians.
I also understand that people want to hear from me because I am not just a celebrity, I am a former Republican Governor.
My time as Governor taught me to…
