The Douglas Advent Calendar 2024 is here. At just under 33 euros, it is one of the cheapest beauty calendars. Stern checked whether inexpensive and high-quality are mutually exclusive.
It opens like a book. Only without sides, instead there are 24 doors. The Advent calendar from Douglas contains – oh, wonder – 24 beauty products for everyday life. The star has tested the women’s version and shows a price-performance check.
Douglas Advent Calendar: The first impression
Advent calendars from well-known brands are available all the time. Buyers have to shell out a lot of money for many copies. While competing perfume store chains offer Advent calendars for around 100 euros, Douglas goes with one to the start. Is it any good?
The surface, dark blue, is reminiscent of dark winter nights. Snowflakes, stars, Christmas trees, fairy figures complete the kitsch. Anyone who likes it will really get into the Christmas spirit. The doors are clearly visible: 1, 2, 3 and so on. Unfortunately, when you open them, more than just the door rips open. Too careless? Too greedy? May be. Now to the content.
The Douglas Advent calendar is also included available.

Douglas Advent calendar 2024: The star top 3
From our point of view, one of the highlights of the calendar is the Blender Sponge. The in baby blue, great for applying foundation, reminiscent of a chicken egg. Instead of being used as a side dish in the morning, it is used in the daily make-up routine. The shape allows the foundation to be applied and blended – no smudges, no edges.
Another highlight is the Mini Maxi Mascara, which costs 12.99 euros in the shop. The black can be easily applied using the narrow rubber brush. The mascara brings curl and volume to the eyelashes. You can catch every little hair with the brush.
The third highlight is at least a reason to be happy for anyone who likes to wear color on their lips. The color is inconspicuous, dark pink, matte. Ideal for everyday use – without attracting attention. And he holds.
