Nine years in prison for Robinho (37): According to media reports, the former Brazilian footballer’s appeal was rejected. It was about his conviction for involvement in the gang rape of a woman in Milan in 2013. On Wednesday, the Supreme Court of Cassation in Rome upheld the earlier verdict in which the 37-year-old was sentenced to nine years in prison.
In 2017, Robinho and five other defendants were found guilty of assaulting a 22-year-old woman in a nightclub. The verdict was already confirmed in December 2020 after a first appeal.
