Bad argument over a little thing

Pietro Lombardi and his fiancée, Laura Maria Rypa, talk about how the heated argument came about between them.
A police operation took place at the beginning of October as part of a serious argument between Pietro Lombardi (32) and his fiancée, Laura Maria Rypa. There were also allegations of domestic violence, which were rejected by the singer’s lawyer and Lombardi himself. Now the singer, who became known for “Deutschland sucht den Superstar”, and his fiancée are talking about what happened.
A fight between Lombardi and Rypa has never been so “crass” before
The mood is currently “very good in the family,” reports Lombardi. Rypa agrees that the two are doing “well given the circumstances.” “So yes, as Pietro has already confirmed, the police were with us. But to be honest, I have to say, it was really such a blatant argument that we haven’t had before,” she continues.
Apparently Rypa was struggling with her nerves at this point. She had just recently given birth to the couple’s second baby together. She reports that the two of them have “a cry child”: “The last straw is a small thing. But it suddenly just escalated and I just didn’t know what to do anymore. I was just so overwhelmed with it situation, and then I called the police.”
The two “argued loudly” and Lombardi then started “throwing things around. I don’t know that about us.” The singer explains that he threw the objects, photos and records, but not in the direction of his partner. “We no longer have nice pictures of ourselves on the wall,” he says. And all of this for no good reason: she doesn’t even know the exact trigger for the argument, says Rypa. It was “really a small thing”.
Laura Maria Rypa: “He didn’t hit me”
In a long statement video on Instagram, which has now apparently been deleted, Lombardi recently emphasized that he had “never hit” his fiancée. However, he said, “My behavior was shameful” – and that he had been “a real asshole.” He apologized to his fiancée. His lawyer had already stated, among other things: “Since, as explained, our client did not use violence against his fiancée and did not injure her, the accusation of domestic violence is emphatically rejected.” As part of an “emotional argument” there was “mutual contact”.
“He didn’t hit me,” says Rypa now. “He grabbed my arm […]and he was very vocal. I cried. I didn’t know how to help myself in the situation. That’s why I called the police.”
Just a few weeks ago, Lombardi and Rypa became parents again. The couple made it public in August that their son Amelio Elija was born. Leano (1), their first son, was born at the beginning of 2023. Lombardi also has another son, Alessio (9), from a previous marriage with the singer Sarah Engels (32).
