Famous Halloween party: What is Klum going as this year?

Before her famous Halloween party in New York, Heidi Klum is stirring up excitement about her costume this year. The 51-year-old German posted a video on her Instagram channel with creepy music, the year 2024 and lots of question marks. The top model causes a stir every year on the tradition day with elaborate costumes. This is also why Klum, who lives in the USA, has achieved cult status and is called the “Queen of Halloween”.

Klum’s outfit will remain a secret until the evening party in New York – on German night. But like in previous years, it is likely to be extravagant.

Last year, the model came into the spotlight as a larger-than-life peacock in a bright blue outfit, surrounded by ten acrobats wearing shiny green peacock feathers. There was also a huge peacock egg: Klum’s husband Tom Kaulitz (35) was in the white shell. However, there wasn’t much to see of the Tokio Hotel guitarist. Just a small hole for the eyes, nose and mouth and two openings for the white arms.

Perhaps the strangest (and most impressive) appearance of the Rhineland native and “Germany’s Next Top Model” presenter was as a giant worm in 2022. There was a fishing hook in the thick tail end of the costume, while Kaulitz held the other end of the fishing rod as a creepy fisherman the hand. Before that, Klum had already been transformed into a werewolf or a significantly older version of herself.

With ample buttocks and breast prostheses as well as facial pads, she was the curvy cartoon character Jessica Rabbit in 2015. In 2018, Klum and husband Tom appeared as the ogre couple Shrek and Fiona. In 2019, makeup artists turned her into an alien zombie with tubes and organs hanging out in a ten-hour operation.

The German model has been hosting a big party for Halloween on October 31st since 2000. Only in 2020 and 2021 was their legendary horror festival canceled due to the corona pandemic.

Many celebrity guests are expected again this year. Before the big celebration, Klum was given another honor: she was allowed to turn on the Halloween lights at the Empire State Building.
