Is he already retired from acting?

Matt LeBlanc has reportedly retired from acting. After Matthew Perry’s death, he is said to have reconsidered his life.

“Friends” star Matt LeBlanc (57) has not appeared in front of the cameras for a film or series production for a long time. But when will the US actor return? An insider believes he knows that LeBlanc has long since retired from acting. A contributing reason could be the death of his friend and former “Friends” colleague Matthew Perry (1969-2023) last year, as the anonymous source suggests.

Matt LeBlanc actually already retired?

“Matt is still sad about the loss of Matthew,” said . With Perry’s death, “such an important part of his life and a good friend” has disappeared. “It’s made him rethink his life. He wants to focus on other interests because that’s what’s important to him at the moment.”

LeBlanc was last seen in 2021 as part of a reunion of the “Friends” stars. In order for him to return to the film or series camera, he needs “the perfect opportunity,” believes the insider, who claims that the actor has “quietly retired.” LeBlanc therefore wants to be “out of the spotlight” and is doing well financially: “He wants to enjoy life and keep things simple.”

But has LeBlanc actually already retired? In October 2022, around a year before Perry’s death, “I’m taking some time off at the moment. I’m just enjoying not having to do anything – it’s kind of nice.”

LeBlanc is best known for his role as Joey in the cult sitcom “Friends.” There he was seen alongside Jennifer Aniston (55), Lisa Kudrow (61), David Schwimmer (57), Courteney Cox (60) and Perry.
