Adcap Financial Group adds two prominent doctors in Economics, such as Eduardo Levi Yeyati and Federico Filippini to lead the research team.
Levi Yeyati will lead the team as Chief Economic Advisor, while Filippini takes the position of Chief Economist and, Javier Casabalwill continue to be responsible for Strategy of the area.
Eduardo Levi Yeyati He is a civil engineer from the UBA and a doctor in Economics from the University of Pennsylvania. He also has an extensive teaching career as a Plenary Professor of Economics and Public Policies at the Torcuato Di Tella University (UTDT). In addition, he wrote five essays in his extensive academic career.
In public service, he was Senior Advisor and founding Director of the Argentina 2030 program in the Chief of Staff of Ministers of Argentina, Director of the Investment and Commercial Credit Bank (BICE) and Chief Economist and Manager of Monetary and Financial Policy of the Central Bank Argentinean.
During his time in the private sector, he was Head of Research for Latin America and Emerging Markets Strategy at Barclays Capital and Senior Financial Advisor at the World Bank.

For its part, Federico Filippini He has a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from the Torcuato Di Tella University and a Doctor in Economics from New York University. In his extensive career, Federico was Undersecretary of Macroeconomic Programming in the National Ministry of Finance and also served as Chief Economist of the macro/financial consulting firm Mindy Economics and the consulting firm Alberdi Partners. His work as a consultant includes his contribution to the World Bank and the World Health Organization, where he provided support on macro-financial issues and analysis of public policies applied in the pandemic. His academic production also focuses on macro-financial issues and health economics.
