How mean: Sarah Jessica Parker’s elaborate Halloween decorations were stolen. The actress reacted angrily.
“Sex and the City” star Sarah Jessica Parker (59) is a self-confessed Halloween fan. But now the actress apparently had to endure another bad experience on the day she likes to hand out sweets to children. Like, she fell victim to thieves who stole her Halloween decorations. This isn’t the first time Parker has experienced this.
“Shame on you, pumpkin thieves!!!”
The perpetrators stole the magenta and gold painted pumpkins from the steps of their two connected West Village townhouses. The decorations were still there on Monday, as the pictures show. On Halloween itself, only a few candles and a single jack-o-lantern were burning on the steps in the evening. According to the report, the “Sex and the City” star vented her displeasure with signs on the door: “Shame on you, pumpkin thieves!!!” She also stuck a recording from a surveillance camera.
The robbery is reminiscent of an almost identical situation five years ago, when Parker’s pumpkins were also stolen. In a post on her Instagram page in 2019, she explained that she had dragged them home from the Berkshires in Massachusetts especially for her porch. At the time, the mother of three wrote: “All of our pumpkins were stolen, as were all the other pumpkins on our block.”
Spin-off “And Just Like That”: Filming for the third season completed
There is happier news from the “Sex and the City” follow-up series “And Just Like That…”. “#AndJustLikeThat Season 3 has officially finished production back where it all began. See you in 2025, lovers,” captioned a photo of Parker in front of the iconic brownstone. House of her series character Carrie Bradshow shows.
