How stretching helps your marriage
Many Hollywood marriages are short-lived. An exception is Tim Allen, who recently discovered a new hobby with his wife.
“Listen, Who’s Banging” star Tim Allen (71) and his wife Jane Hajduk (58) have been going through life together for 23 years – 18 of them as married couples. The two of them obviously don’t get bored. In an interview with , they revealed how they keep their love fresh with a new couple hobby.
“We’re going to a little stretch lab”
When asked about the secret to her long marriage, Hajduk explained that she and her husband recently began stretching together. “Our new activity is stretching. We go to a little stretch lab and then we have breakfast.”
The hobby strengthens not only the connection, but also the body. “I can actually stand upright,” Tim Allen quipped. “It’s great,” his wife emphasized, enthusing that it “just feels like you’re doing something great for your body.”
Communication and friendship are also important
The couple also relies on good communication and mutual friendship. “We talk,” said Hajduk, another tip for a long marriage. Allen emphasized: “That’s right, we talk. That’s what we do. And we’re good friends.”
The actress and the actor have been in a relationship since 2001. They tied the knot on October 7, 2006 in Grand Lake, Colorado. Only the couple’s family was present at the intimate outdoor ceremony, including Allen’s daughter Katherine Dick from his first marriage to his college sweetheart Laura Deibel. The two married in 1984 and separated in 1999. The divorce took place in 2003. The actor had another daughter, Elizabeth (15), with Jane Hajduk in 2009.
