Amira Aly: Family stress because of new relationship

Amira Aly (32) spoke to her brother Hima Aly about the challenges of their blended family in the new episode. She still seems to have problems a good year after her public separation from Oliver Pocher (46) – apparently because Pocher can’t cope with Aly’s new relationship.

The reason for the topic is the birthday of the older son, who will be five years old in November. How exactly the special day will be celebrated this year has not yet been decided. “That remains to be seen. This is of course not an easy topic,” says Aly. Her brother has precise ideas: “I would like to see you at the same table. You, Christian and Olli, clink glasses and just laugh, don’t worry about it!” Amira then: “You don’t have to tell me that.”

It is the first birthday in the new constellation. “It’s difficult, I have to be honest. I hope it works better on my birthday than it did on Halloween.” Her wish would be “that we do this together”. However, there seem to be problems there.

“If it’s not possible for my partner to be there, then I’ll just have to split it up,” says Aly. But “at some point it’s time to accept things as they are.” Her new partner is “not just anyone, but an integral part of my life and that of my children”.

Especially with a view to the coming birthdays and holidays, the presenter wishes: “You should slowly find some way…” She further emphasizes that she can cope well with any environment. “I’m always friendly and am there and do and do and help as I can. And give the other children something for their birthday, as is appropriate. I do everything, I manage it, it would be nice if others did that could finally get it done.”

Amira Aly and Oliver Pocher were married from 2019 to 2024 and have two children. After the separation was announced, there were repeated public arguments. The two have been officially divorced since September, as Pocher announced. In July 2024, Aly and presenter Christian Düren (34) made their couple’s debut on the red carpet.
