Tommy Haas and Sara Foster: Actress confirms the end of love

The American actress Sara Foster (43) has spoken publicly for the first time about her separation from former German tennis legend Tommy Haas (46). In mid-August, People magazine reported that the couple had separated after 18 years. In an interview with Jeff Lewis (54), she confirmed the rumors and also revealed that they still live under the same roof despite their separation.

“So you’re not together at all?” he asked her on his “SiriusXM” show “Jeff Lewis Live.” And further: “So, you guys just broke up recently, right?” Sara Foster responded that the breakup was still “too recent” for her to start dating again. Lewis asked if Foster and Haas still lived in the same house. “Yes, the house you built,” she said, referring to Lewis renovating part of her home on his 2023 reality series “Hollywood Houselift.”

The answer prompted Lewis to repeat the question: “Wait, you live together in the same house?” Foster confirmed that the answer was yes. Her sister Erin Foster (42), who just scored a hit with the Netflix series “What Nobody Wants,” added that the situation was “very peaceful.” Lewis then wanted to know whether Sara and Haas at least had separate rooms. The actress admitted that she and the former professional tennis player have not shared a room recently.

Jeff Lewis, who Sara Foster has known for a long time, seems to have foreseen the separation for a long time. “He always joked, ‘Oh, Tommy’s going to leave you.’ Well, I blame you,” said the actress. Lewis then explained that it never seemed right to him that Haas wasn’t there often because he had to travel a lot for work. “He was never there and that was a warning sign for me.”

Sara Foster, however, apparently doesn’t want to wash dirty laundry. She defended her ex-partner as “the best.” Her sister also emphasized: “Tommy is a great guy, he’s a great father. He’s literally having dinner tonight with my husband and our other brother-in-law Tom. He’ll be in our family forever.”

The couple had been together since 2006. The two got engaged in 2008 – but a wedding did not follow. Daughter Valentina was born in 2010, followed by Josephine in 2015. The couple lived in Los Angeles. Haas also has US citizenship.

He was one of the most famous tennis professionals in Germany. In his professional career, which lasted from 1997 to 2017, he reached second place in the world rankings. However, he never won a Grand Slam title. He now works as a tennis official. Before Foster, he was with Sandy Meyer-Wölden (41) for a few years, the relationship ended in 2003. Sara Foster made a name for herself as an actress. Among other things, she was seen in “90210”, a spin-off of the series “Beverly Hills, 90210”.
