Instead of a wild party, Sean “Diddy” Combs celebrated his birthday behind bars. At least he was allowed to talk to his children.
Sean “Diddy” Combs didn’t celebrate his 55th birthday on November 4th with one of his infamous “Freak Off” parties. Instead of eating strawberries from a naked woman’s body, the rapper is currently sitting alone behind bars. He is accused, among other things, of illegal sex trafficking and involvement in organized crime. Combs is awaiting trial at the notorious Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn, which is scheduled to begin in May 2025.
At least Diddy was allowed to talk to his children on the phone. The fallen music mogul has seven children with three women: Quincy Brown (33), Justin Combs (30), King Combs (26), Chance Combs (18) and twins Jessie and D’Lila Combs (17). The youngest daughter, Love, is only two years old.
The Children of the Call in a shared post on Instagram. Six of his offspring are gathered around a table with a birthday cake on it. The absent daughter Chance is connected via a smartphone. Little Love sings “Happy Birthday,” while her older siblings join in tentatively.

Then Sean Combs can be heard over the loudspeaker: “I love you all, I love you all so much,” he says. He tells his children that he is proud of them for being so strong. Especially the girls.
“I thank you all for being strong and thank you for being on my side and supporting me,” says Diddy. And: “I have the best family in the world.” As he said goodbye, he said he was “happy” on his birthday. The family arranges to visit the prison in a few days.
His children defend Diddy
His children took Diddy’s side shortly after his arrest in September of this year. “Many have condemned both him and us based on accusations, conspiracy theories and false narratives,” the family said in a statement in October.
Combs is accused in numerous other cases of abusing, threatening and coercing alleged victims over the course of years. He drugged her for parties and forced her to have sex. The producer, long known as “Puff Daddy” or “P. Diddy,” denies the allegations.
