For the US election: Beyoncé becomes Pamela Anderson

For US election
Beyoncé becomes Pamela Anderson

US pop star Beyoncé has released a special video for the US election. The singer appeared in Pamela Anderson’s “Baywatch” look.

Singer Beyoncé (43) has paid tribute to Pamela Anderson (57) and her role in the cult series “Baywatch” (1989-2001). On the day of the US presidential election (November 5th), she released the clip for the song “Bodyguard” from her country album “Cowboy Carter” on social media. In it she can be seen, among other things, with a blonde wig and a red swimsuit with the inscription “Beywatch”. With this she also begins the iconic slow-motion run with which the “Baywatch” stars became famous.

More Pamela Anderson looks

But it didn’t stop at this Pamela Anderson tribute. Beyoncé’s looks were also reminiscent of the Anderson film “Barb Wire” (1996) and her appearance at the MTV Video Music Awards in 1999. The actress wore a white corset top, sequined trousers and a feather-trimmed, pink hat. She not only published the clip under the costume theme for Halloween, or “Beylloween”, but at the end she also called for people to vote in the US election with the words “Vote”.

Beyoncé made it clear that her vote went to Democrat Kamala Harris (60) with a campaign appearance with Harris in Houston at the end of October. In it she said, among other things: “I am not here as a celebrity. I am not here as a politician. I am here as a mother, a mother who cares about the world in which our children live.”
