Victoria Beckham: Used to dress for paparazzi
Victoria Beckham has her own Netflix series in the works and regularly shares family photos on Instagram. In other areas, she says she reveals less about herself today than she used to.
According to her own statements, Victoria Beckham (50) avoids encounters with photographers on the street more than before. “We’ve figured out how to behave discreetly, and that’s exactly the way we want to live our lives at the moment,” the wife of former professional footballer David Beckham (49) told Harper’s Bazaar magazine. “I think it used to be fun to go out and be chased by paparazzi as you walked down Bond Street – and you dressed knowing that was going to happen,” Beckham elaborated. “I don’t want that anymore.”
Victoria Beckham became known in the 1990s with the girl group Spice Girls and has since built a career as a designer. She and her husband David Beckham occasionally share photos of moments together with their four children on social media.
After the success of the documentary about her husband’s football career, the streaming service Netflix announced its own series about Victoria Beckham a few months ago. Among other things, it tells how she reinvented herself as the creative director of her own fashion brand.
