Thomas Gottschalk to Stefan Raab: You have more teeth than me
Like in the old days with “Wetten,dass..?”: Stefan Raab gets the entertainment veteran to appear together on his streaming show. The two also talk about their teeth.
Stefan Raab has been to Thomas Gottschalk’s former ZDF show classic “Wetten,dass..?” several times. as a guest – now there was the first return visit. The 74-year-old entertainer Gottschalk appeared as a guest in the new episode of the RTL+ streaming show “You won’t win a million here with Stefan Raab” published on Wednesday evening. He came in bell-bottoms and remarked, “When it comes to clothes, I can still beat you easily, Stefan. But you have more teeth than me.” At Raab it looks like more, he added.
Raab had announced Gottschalk as the “second best entertainer in Germany”. The 74-year-old initially sat at Raab’s studio desk as a conversation partner. He then acted – like TV faces such as Elton, Jan Köppen and Sophia Thomalla – as a game director in the show, in which candidates compete against Raab in the fight for a million euros. One game, for example, was about identifying musicians in pictures.
Gottschalk can still be seen on RTL
Gottschalk, who moderated his last “Wetten,dass..?” show in 2023, recently caused a stir with his book “Unfiltered: Confessions of someone who can’t keep his mouth shut” and some interview statements. Raab promoted the book on the show.
Gottschalk can be seen more times on RTL on free TV in the coming weeks. According to the broadcaster, two new episodes of the improvisation show “Because they don’t know what’s happening” with Gottschalk, Günther Jauch and Barbara Schöneberger will be broadcast on December 7th and 14th.
Shortly before Christmas, Raab also cooperates with “Bully” Herbig
Raab’s return as an entertainer, musician and presenter in the fall was considered the German TV event of the year. After a boxing match against former boxer Regina Halmich as the start of the event, Raab can currently be seen regularly on “You won’t win a million here with Stefan Raab”. The weekly show is not broadcast on the classic RTL television program, but only on the streaming platform. As the weeks went by, demand waned.
Shortly before Christmas, Raab will be seen in a show on the free TV channel RTL with Michael “Bully” Herbig. In addition, Raab will be in charge as a juror for the German entry for the Eurovision Song Contest in 2025. RTL and ARD are cooperating.
