This is what the Sheldon Cooper star looks like with a beard
Fans know him as the clean-shaven nerd from “TBBT.” However, Jim Parsons now looks completely different: the actor has a full beard.
At the end of October, actor Jim Parsons (51) surprised everyone with a full beard at the CFDA Fashion Awards in New York City. He probably stayed true to his hairy change: Last Wednesday (6th Wednesday) he was also spotted in the Big Apple with his new look on the way to his Broadway play “Our Little Town” (originally: “Our Town”). In combination with dark sunglasses, the changed actor looked particularly casual. His role, which also stars Katie Holmes (45) and Zoey Deutch (29), was originally the reason why his new look came about.
Conversation with his hairdresser
“I let it grow because I knew I was going to be in the play,” Parsons said on the sidelines of the CFDA Fashion Awards. But the beard wasn’t absolutely necessary for the piece. “Long story short: I had a conversation with my hairdresser. I said, ‘You always have a beard,’ and he said, ‘Well, I kind of don’t have a very strong chin.'” According to “Big Bang Theory” -Star realized that a beard “can change the shape of your face. And then I said, ‘I want to try it.'”
Jim Parsons became known among series fans through the sitcom “The Big Bang Theory”. In twelve seasons between 2007 and 2019, everything revolved around a group of scientists and nerds. Particularly popular with viewers was Jim Parsons’ head nerd Sheldon Cooper. The spin-off “Young Sheldon” very successfully retold his childhood in seven seasons between 2017 and 2024. Parsons was involved in the spin-off as a narrator.
