Massimo Sinató’s premiere of “Moulin Rouge!”: Wife Rebecca Mir is proud of him

Rebecca Mir (32) is proud of her husband Massimo Sinató (43)! On Wednesday evening, the “Let’s Dance” star celebrated his musical debut in “Moulin Rouge! The Musical”. His wife, who supported him from the audience, was thrilled after the show. “I was totally relaxed because I knew he was going to rock it 100%. But of course it’s very special for me to see my husband live on stage here today,” she gushed, according to a statement. For Mir it was “even better” than she imagined.

I wasn’t the only one who watched Massimo Sinató’s performance from the audience. Lili Paul-Roncalli (26), who won the 13th season of “Let’s Dance” with Sinató, was also there. “I can hardly believe it was just his premiere. He was so experienced on stage, as if he had been doing the show for weeks,” she said, happy for him after the show.

Sinató’s long-time “Let’s Dance” colleague Isabel Edvardsson (42) also took the chance and attended the professional dancer’s musical premiere: “I spoke to Massimo on the phone yesterday. Of course he’s nervous, but he’ll do great today,” said them in advance. For Edvardsson, the 43-year-old is “one of the hardest-working people” she knows. “He has so much passion for the stage,” she enthused.

“Moulin Rouge! The Musical” has been running as a play on Broadway since 2019, and three years later it premiered in Cologne. Sinató finally joined just in time for the two-year anniversary. He can be seen in the role of the tango dancer Santiago. “The role is diverse. It includes not only dancing, but also acting and a lot of singing, which, together with all three, makes it a completely new profession for me,” explained the “Let’s Dance” professional a few weeks ago. He will be on stage at the Musical Dome on 16 selected dates until mid-December.
