Christmas with two ex-wives, their new partners and ten children: Oliver Pocher is obviously annoyed by the holiday planning.
Silent night, holy night? Things are likely to look different for Oliver Pocher (46) at Christmas this year. In the current episode, the comedian and his ex-wife Alessandra Meyer-Wölden (41) talk about the problem of patchwork holidays.
In the new edition, the ex-couple answers questions from the audience during a live podcast recording. Here you are asked about your Christmas plans this year. “Not a good topic,” Meyer-Wölden immediately replies. Pocher reveals that she would like to celebrate with her new boyfriend.
He then asks, apparently annoyed by the topic, whether his three children would actually be there in addition to their three children. “Are we going to celebrate with ALL the children then?” he asks, almost defiantly, when she doesn’t answer. Meyer-Wölden also has two other children from another relationship. She already has a plan for the holidays, including a subsequent ski vacation, but doesn’t dare share it with Pocher.
Post-divorce problem family gatherings
“I’m excited, we have even more families,” he ultimately brings up his two children with ex-wife Amira Aly (32). “If it continues like this, then I’ll celebrate with Christian and Amira,” Meyer-Wölden finally replies smugly. “They’re my neighbors too, I know the house…” she continues to ponder. To which he says: “It’s your house too, you can go in and out of it.”
Even planning for Aly and Pocher’s older son’s birthday party in November is apparently difficult, she said in her own podcast “Liebes Leben” on Podimo: “If it’s not feasible for my partner to be there, then I have to Just divide it up.” But “at some point it’s time to accept things as they are.” Her new partner, the presenter Christian Düren (34), is “not just anyone, but an integral part of my life and that of my children.”
Oliver Pocher and Amira Aly were married from 2019 to 2024. The two have been officially divorced since last September, as Pocher announced at the time. In July 2024, Aly and Düren made their red carpet debut.
