Pietro Lombardi has broken his silence and reacted to his “DSDS” exit with emotional words. He also let criticism come through.
Pietro Lombardi (32) was visibly shaken when he commented for the first time about his departure as a juror on “Deutschland sucht den Superstar”. “You can imagine, my inbox is full. Everyone asks me, what about ‘DSDS’? There’s so much being written. Bushido, Pietro, Bushido, Pietro…” he begins his detailed statement.
What was initially much more important to him than both names: “To say thank you. Thank you for a great trip. ‘DSDS’ was family to me. ‘DSDS’ was honestly never just a job. I did it with my heart and soul, I always was loyal. That’s why it’s my duty – and I do it from the heart – to say thank you. Thank you to ‘DSDS’, thank you also to Dieter.
He also expresses criticism
However, he is not happy about how his deportation went, as he also openly states: “What just disappoints me is the way I was treated at that moment. I would have wished it to be different. But also that I never blame my family. That’s why: Everything is fine.” The first reports that Lombardi will no longer sit next to pop titan Dieter Bohlen (70) on the “DSDS” jury next season appeared immediately after reports of a heated argument between him and his fiancée Laura Maria Rypa (28), which even led to a police operation.
Will he take part in the final?
What he firmly promises his fans for the weekend: Of course he will be there one last time at the upcoming “DSDS” finale next Saturday (November 9th). “100 percent! I’ll enjoy every second because I’ll never let my many finalists down. I was a candidate myself and I know how great it is to be in the final. And that’s why I’ll do everything I can to help them give what I have learned over the years.”
In this regard, he made an appeal to his followers: “On this day, Pietro Lombardi doesn’t give a shit. And Bushido doesn’t give a shit either. The focus is on the candidates. We shouldn’t draw attention to ourselves. These candidates have been fucking their asses off for months opened up this day. So please let’s celebrate the four of us.”
Rumors about his replacement
The reason why he mentions the name Bushido (46) so often: it is assumed that the rapper will take his place next season. This hasn’t been officially confirmed yet, but Bushido made a meaningful announcement: “I’m so excited, on Saturday the time has come, I’ll be there at the big ‘DSDS’ live finale. I hope you’ll be there too. I’m happy, it’s going to be great. We’ve thought of something cool.” It is therefore assumed that he will be announced as an upcoming juror during the finale.
