The pension agency and the Ministry of Energy relaunched the Home Program to financially assist families in vulnerable situations.
The National Social Security Administration (ANSES)together with the government of Javier Milei, reactivated the Home Programa key benefit that seeks to financially support families without access to the natural gas network. After a temporary pause, the pension organization announced the relaunch of this program in coordination with the Secretary of Energy, with the aim of guaranteeing that the most vulnerable households can acquire gas bottles at an affordable price.
This plan is designed to provide help in areas where the natural gas network does not reach, thus easing the economic burden of many Argentine families. ANSES continues to move forward with November payments, and has already established a specific collection schedule for program beneficiaries.

What is the ANSES Home Program
He Home Program is a subsidy that ANSES offers to families who They do not have connection to the natural gas network, facilitating the purchase of bottles at a reduced price. This benefit is deposited directly into the beneficiary’s bank account, thus allowing quick and easy access to the funds necessary to purchase bottles.
In addition, it was determined that the beneficiaries will receive a payment retroactive that will cover the period between December 2023 and April 2024to compensate for the months in which the program was paused. This retroactive payment is aimed at those who requested the subsidy before April 2024 and meet the stipulated requirements.
Who can access the ANSES Home Program
To access the Home Program, Beneficiaries must meet certain requirements determined by the Ministry of Energy. These vary depending on the size of the family group, the location of the home and the time of year. The eligibility criteria are:
- No member of the family group must have natural gas service in their name or have requested the Social Gas Rate.
- The family group’s income must not exceed 2 minimum wages, or up to category C of the monotax. In the case of households where a person with a disability lives (with a current Single Disability Certificate), the income limit is up to 3 minimum wages or up to category D of the monotax.
- In regions such as La Pampa, Neuquén, Río Negro, Chubut, Santa Cruz, Tierra del Fuego and the Patagones district, the maximum income allowed increases to 2.8 minimum wages or category D of monotax. If there is a person with a disability in the home, the limit rises to 4.2 minimum wages or category E of the monotax.

- DNI ending in 0: Friday, November 8.
- DNI ending in 1: Monday, November 11.
- DNI ending in 2: Tuesday, November 12.
- DNI ending in 3: Wednesday, November 13.
- DNI ending in 4: Thursday, November 14.
- DNI ending in 5: Friday, November 15.
- DNI ending in 6: Tuesday, November 19.
- DNI ending in 7: Wednesday, November 20.
- DNI ending in 8: Thursday, November 21.
- DNI ending in 9: Friday, November 22.
