Mark Wahlberg: His restaurant opened the day after Brand

Hollywood star Mark Wahlberg (53) has literally opened the “hottest” restaurant in the city in Las Vegas. On Thursday, the actor celebrated the official opening of his new Mexican-inspired restaurant “Flecha Cantina” – after a fire broke out there the evening before.

“An incredible opening last night,” wrote Mark Wahlberg in a video on Instagram. “It’s the hottest restaurant in Vegas.” In the clip, the actor can be seen answering a call from a customer on the phone and reassuring him: “There is no fire, everything is fine, we are open.”

According to People magazine, a fire broke out at the restaurant on the evening of November 6th, the day before the opening party. A defective fireplace caught fire on the restaurant’s terrace. The fire department was able to extinguish the flames immediately. Only the fireplace and a chair were damaged; no one was injured.

The “Flecha Cantina” combines “Mexican classics with modern fire,” according to the restaurant’s website. In addition to happy hours and live entertainment, the restaurant also offers Taco and Tequila Tuesdays and Sunday brunch buffets. This is the restaurant’s second location; Mark Wahlberg already has a branch in Huntington Beach, California. The restaurant also has Flecha Tequila, which the actor invested in a few years ago.

The Hollywood star already has plenty of gastronomic experience: In 2011, Mark Wahlberg, together with his brothers Donnie (55) and Paul (60), founded a burger chain called “Wahlburgers”, which now has a total of more than 90 branches in the United States, Canada, Australia and New Zealand have.
