Ekaterina Leonova (37) has conquered the hearts of “Let’s Dance” viewers in recent years with her numerous great dances and her charm. However, yours has not yet been assigned. Ekat, as she is often called by fans, is still looking for her prince.

“Absolutely not,” Ekat replies, asking whether she has given up on true love. “Stay healthy, see my family more often and the prince on the white horse…” are her wishes for the coming year.

Family and friends are very important to the dancer; she often calls her loved ones on the phone: “Especially to balance my professional life, I need down-to-earth people and a lot of interaction with those I trust blindly and who are always there for me.” Ekat wants to be able to “feel at home” even when she is on the road – and she achieves this through telephone conversations with people close to her.

Ekat keeps her private life as secret as possible – and perhaps this is precisely why she regularly inspires wild rumors. Even though there is always speculation among fans about the love life of the “Let’s Dance” favorite, she has emphasized several times in the past few weeks and months that she is single. In an Instagram question and answer session at the end of March, for example, when asked whether she had a partner by her side, she humorously explained: “If I have a boyfriend, then I enjoy my days off with him.” She also published a photo that showed her lying on a towel in Turkey. “And as you can see… yes, I don’t see anyone either.”
