Coldplay frontman Chris Martin rescued a little boy from the crowd at one of his shows.
Coldplay frontman Chris Martin (47) picked a little boy out of the crowd at his band’s concert in Sydney. There are recordings circulating of the moment in which the singer has the young concertgoer brought out of the standing area and offers him a better seat near the stage.
“You can sit right here, you don’t have to be squeezed in,” Chris Martin said, as seen in videos from concertgoers, before the young fan was lifted over the stage barrier to another seat. “We will take care of you,” said the British musician, and then continued his performance.
Meanwhile, fans are frequently commenting on Chris Martin’s gesture on social media. “That was the best part of the evening,” wrote one Coldplay fan. “I just love him,” added another user.

After performances in Sydney, they’ll go on to Auckland in New Zealand, and later they’ll also visit North America, among other places. According to the calendar, the tour ends at the beginning of September 2025, after they play ten concerts at London’s Wembley Stadium.
