He Government confirmed this Sunday that it will deregulate the service postal mailcurrently in charge of the company Correo Argentino, entirely state-owned. The measure will be confirmed this Monday through the Official Gazette.
As stated from the Ministry of Deregulation and Transformation of the Statewhich will work together with the Ministry of Innovation, Science and Technology to advance the project, the objective of the measure is “to promote the free competition and the elimination of bureaucratic decisions that restrict the supply of goods and services.” In addition, they added that they seek “promote transparency, simplification, digitalization and greater security of the service.”
In this way, they will establish “new guidelines” for the development of activity in Argentina.
How mail deregulation will take place
The portfolio directed by Federico Sturzenegger specified that as of this change, legal entities will be able to register with the authority of application “in a simple, electronic, free and declarative manner.”
