Pietro Lombardi: February tour is his last for the time being

For Pietro Lombardi, the signs seem to be pointing to change. In the next season of “Deutschland sucht den Superstar”, the former winner of the RTL casting show will no longer be on the jury. And the singer also apparently wants to say goodbye to touring life. He announced on his Instagram account on Sunday evening (November 10th) that he would be going on tour for the last time in February. But it shouldn’t be a complete withdrawal from the stage: he will continue to make individual appearances and make music.

In response to several questions from his fans, Lombardi emphasized that the tour planned for February would take place. “But it will be the last Pietro Lombardi tour for the next few years.” That’s why he would be happy “if you all came and celebrated it with me again.” He emphasized in the comment: “Of course I’ll continue to do individual concerts and music as normal.” He still has “many big plans” for the future.

Before that, he thanked you again for the support during the “DSDS” finale on November 9th. The evening was “unbelievable”. It was very emotional. He was “overwhelmed” by the “love in the studio” and the comments online. That shows him “that I did something right.” The singer recently made a lot of headlines because of a heated argument with his fiancée. Shortly before the “DSDS” finale, it was speculated that Lombardi would no longer be there in the next season and would be replaced by Bushido.

Shortly after the announcement of this year’s winner, Christian Jährig, the outgoing juror was touched: “That all the people screamed my name,” he said in a story from the car. “I was really close to tears. That’s not something to be taken for granted.” He is proud to have been a part of “DSDS”. The past four weeks have been “not easy”. “But in the end, what matters to me is what my supporters, my wife/family think about me and love me for who I am.”
