Son of “Superman” Christopher Reeve: Will Reeve is engaged to Amanda Dubin

20 years after the death of “Superman” icon Christopher Reeve (1952-2004), there is good news from his son Will Reeve (32): The ABC News correspondent met his girlfriend in New York City on November 8th Amanda Dubin engaged.

The couple revealed this in a joint Instagram post on November 10th. “We,” it says about several photos of the question of all questions. In one picture, Reeves can be seen on his knees in front of his partner. Other photos show the two kissing and holding hands after their engagement. The proposal took place among the couple’s close friends, and they can also be seen in snapshots with happy reactions.

In a subsequent statement to People magazine, Reeve and Dubin said of their engagement: “Friday was the happiest night of our lives and we can’t wait to spend eternity together.” The couple confirmed their relationship in April 2023 with Instagram posts showing them on a Paris getaway for Dubin’s birthday.

Will Reeve is one of three children of actor Christopher Reeve, who played Superman in four films. Christopher Reeve had been paralyzed since a riding accident in 1995 and died on October 10, 2004 at the age of just 52. The news star’s mother, the actress and singer Dana Reeve (1961-2006), died two years later as a result of a lung cancer diagnosis, leaving Will Reeve an orphan at the age of 13. In an interview with “USA Today” in September to promote the documentary “Super/Man: The Christopher Reeve Story,” the TV man said of his late parents: “They raised me normal, humane and grounded, which is what I like in a big way “Allows you to take a sensible approach to everything life throws at you.”
