Italian celebrity couple files for divorce
As “Ferragnez,” the influencer and the rapper made many headlines. After a series of affairs and scandals, the marriage is now over.
The former Italian celebrity couple Chiara Ferragni (37) and Fedez (35) are now officially divorcing after separating a few months ago. According to their lawyers, the influencer and the rapper (“Prima di ogni cosa”) agreed on a separation agreement after “lengthy negotiations”. The two want to share custody of their two children. It will probably take another six months before the divorce is finalized in court.
The romance between Ferragni, who has almost 30 million followers on Instagram, and Fedez – whose real name is Federico Leonardo Lucia – had occupied Italy for years, even leading to its own reality show on television. In the meantime, the couple was only called “Ferragnez”. The two married in 2018. A year ago, Ferragni caused a scandal because she enriched herself personally through advertising campaigns for supposedly good causes. A short time later, she and Fedez separated.
