One woman, ten dresses: Rita Ora’s outfits at the MTV Europe Music Awards
She came, presented and changed her wardrobe: singer Rita Ora caused a stir at the MTV Europe Music Awards in Manchester, not least with her outfits.
Last year the MTV Europe Music Awards were canceled because of the Middle East war. Given the unstable world situation and the numerous deaths, it was not the moment to celebrate the music industry, the organizers said at the time. Twelve months later, the conflict in the Middle East is far from resolved; in fact, it has gotten worse. But canceling the gala again was apparently out of the question – and given the world situation, she promised to become even more political.
The awards ceremony took place in Manchester on Sunday evening. As in 2017 and 2022, the singer Rita Ora was on stage as presenter. The 33-year-old not only touched the audience with a moving tribute to the late One Direction singer Liam Payne (read more about it here), but also attracted numerous attentions with her outfits. Ora changed her wardrobe around a dozen times: everything from a designer dress with synthetic hair to a transparent cape to a sporty two-piece suit was there.
