Alex and Hilaria Baldwin: Family hustle and bustle at the “Spellbound” premiere

The animated film “Spellbound” (from November 22nd on Netflix) is a film for the whole family. And actor Alec Baldwin (66) and his wife Hilaria (40) proved this impressively on Monday evening in New York City. They brought six of their seven children with them to the premiere, ensuring plenty of action on the red carpet.

Before going to the cinema, the extended family posed for the photographers. However, given the lively crowd of children, it turned out to be almost impossible to take a picture in which everyone was looking into the camera. Alec Baldwin held his daughter María (3) for the group snapshot, while Hilaria Baldwin held her son Eduardo “Edu” (4) in her arms. The actor wore a denim shirt, gray pants, a black shirt and sneakers, his wife wore a black pants suit and high heels.

The eldest daughter Carmen (11) stood at her mother’s side in a blue floral dress, a cream cardigan and white sneakers. Her younger brothers Rafael (9), Leonardo (7) and Romeo (6) stood between Carmen and their father. The boys wore casual clothing in various combinations of long-sleeved shirts, tailored pants and sneakers. Only the youngest child, two-year-old Ilaria, was missing.

The family outing marks the first time the Baldwins have walked the red carpet as a family since manslaughter charges against the actor were dropped in July. The 66-year-old went on trial this summer after “Rust” cinematographer Halyna Hutchins died in 2021 when she was shot with a prop gun Baldwin was holding on set. He denied pulling the trigger and claimed he did not know there was a bullet in the chamber. “There are too many people who have supported me to thank them now,” Alec wrote on July 13, after the charges were dropped. “You all will never know how much I appreciate your kindness towards my family.”

A week later, he and his wife made their first post-trial red carpet appearance as a couple when they saw the film “War Game” at the Hamptons International Film Festival as part of the “SummerDocs” series. In June, the two announced that they would star in their own reality series for TLC with their children.

The couple met in February 2011 in a New York restaurant. The wedding took place in June 2012 – then things happened quickly with the offspring. Alec Baldwin also has daughter Ireland (29) with his ex-wife Kim Basinger (70), who made him a grandfather in May 2023.
