“Our general idea of ​​beauty has changed a lot compared to before. I found it exciting to explore beauty today and present it in a context like the Pirelli calendar, which has always celebrated it,” photographer Green says in the Press release quoted. The motto was chosen because “we are returning to the origins of the calendar and celebrating the body in a new way that reflects today.”

That’s why the 2025 calendar returns to its actual roots, nude photography. This year’s pictures were taken in Miami in May and June, once in the sea and in the studio – and with very little material. For example, the models pose covered only with a palm frond or a tree trunk. In recent years, the nudity of the models has no longer been the focus; instead, the calendar has focused on timelessness (2024) or love letters to the muse (2023).

The 34-year-old fashion photographer himself is among the twelve models he photographed twice for the calendar. After Prince Gyasi (29, calendar 2023) and Bryan Adams (65, 2022), Green is the third photographer in the 60-year-old. year-long history of the calendar, which involved itself. And not only that: he also took off all his clothes for his photos.

“I put myself on the calendar because the only person I could tell to be completely naked was myself. It was very liberating to be naked in front of so many people,” the artist explains his motivation . With his calendar line-up he celebrates “diversity and diversity in all forms”.

In addition to Green and Ashley are the American actress and activist Hunter Schafer (“Euphoria”, 25), the Indian-American television presenter Padma Lakshmi (54), ex-wife of writer Salman Rushdie (77), the French acting legend Vincent Cassel (“Irréversible “, 57) and the Italian singer Elodie (34) are part of the Pirelli calendar 2025.
