Set in the same universe as Batman From 2022, the DC crime drama follows Oz Cobb’s rise to power in Gotham City’s criminal underworld.

In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, The Batman director Matt Reeves, who served as executive producer, said that they are considering many ideas about how another television spin-off could develop in this universe.
“Everything is on the table,” Reeves said. “But at the end of the day, We feel that there are more stories to tell in this world. So me and [la showrunner] Lauren and [el productor Dylan Clark] and Colin [Farrell] “We’re talking and we’re trying to figure out whatever it is, it has to delve into this in a way that feels deserved like it did this time.”
Meanwhile, showrunner Lauren LeFranc echoed a similar sentiment on The Direct: “I mean, we put everything on the table. I think that to do a second season, we have to feel that we can surpass ourselves. We have to feel like there’s something else there to really dig into. I mean, I really care about all of these characters, even if they’re terrible people.”
