After months of conflict, the unions and the flag airline reached an agreement. The Government maintains that the company will not continue in the hands of the State.
Finally Aerolíneas Argentinas and the aviation unions reached an agreement that puts an end to the aeronautical conflict and the forceful measures. The company assured that they achieved “advances that will improve the company’s productivity and will limit benefits that were outside of industry standards.
For their part, the unions achieved a salary increase of 16%. The agreement was signed by the representatives of; the Air Line Pilots Association (APLA); the Argentine Aircraft Association (AAA); the Aeronautical Personnel Association (APA); the Aeronautical Technical Personnel Association (APTA); the Union of Senior and Professional Personnel of Aerocommercial Companies (UPSA).
Despite the agreement reached, the Government insists on the privatization of the company. Yesterday, President Javier Milei was blunt with the situation of the flag airline and declared: “This company is no longer in the hands of the State“.

What points did the aeronautical unions and Aerolíneas Argentinas agree on?
