Beck managed to establish his fame with the band The Yardbirdsthen had an extensive solo career and was hailed as one of the largest guitar figures along with top musicians like Jimmy Page and Eric Clapton.
The artist died in 2023 at 78 yearsand the auction will include one of Beck’s most recognizable instruments: the Gibson Les Paul 1954’s brown “Oxblood”, which appears on the cover of their instrumental album “Blow By Blow” from 1975.

The items will go on sale in London next year, the auction house announced on Friday Christie’sand its most notable instrument is estimated to be worth between £350,000 and £500,000 (US$444,000 – US$634,000).
“These guitars were his great love and after almost two years of his death, it is time to separate from them just like Jeff wanted,” he said.
