The towns of Gaiman and Trevelínin the province of Chubutwere chosen as two of the most beautiful in the world, along with other towns in Argentina, according to the UN World Tourism Organization. The election took place under the initiative “Best Tourism Villages“, a world ranking of the best sustainable destinations and considered several destinations in the country.

The locations were Gaiman (Chubut), Caviahue-Copahue (Neuquén), Los Chacayes (Mendoza), Saldungaray (Buenos Aires) Campo Ramón (Misiones), Villa Tulumba (Córdoba), Urdinarrain (Entre Ríos) and Barrancas (Jujuy).
