Sixth anniversary of Jens Büchner’s death: Danni Büchner remembers her husband

Mallorca emigrant Jens Büchner (1969-2018) died on November 17, 2018, exactly six years ago. His widow Daniela “Danni” Büchner (46) has now remembered the popular TV star and father of eight children with moving lines. On the sixth anniversary of the death of her beloved husband and child’s father: “11/17/2018, 6:30 p.m. The day that changed our lives forever.”

For Büchner, husband Jens still seems to be present in numerous moments. She continues: “I remember every single second, every word, every touch – every situation. It is, was and always will be painful. But somehow I have learned to deal with it. Somehow.”

The Mallorca emigrant also describes that her life continued despite the tragic death – “step by step, sometimes better, sometimes worse”. The family misses Jens Büchner “in everything we do.”

But Danni Büchner can also discover a silver lining: the children she shares with the deceased. “You live on in our twins – Diego, who has so much of you, in his way almost a mirror image of you. And Jenna, who carries so much of you with her strength and her smile,” she writes.

Büchner explains: “Diego is like a mini-Jens. Completely crazy about football, a great player at that, Jens would be so proud. And he is a little stubborn who wants to do everything he sets out to do with all his will. He is very Ambitious. I recognize Jens so much in him.”

Daniela Büchner became known as the partner of Ballermann singer Jens Büchner in the TV show “Goodbye Germany – The Emigrants”. She now has her own reality show about her family, “Die Büchners”.
