2018

Last year Apple presented the same two new iPad Pro models: one with 10.5 “and the other with a 12.9” display. 2017

Also in 2017 Apple came out with three new iPad models: A bigger one iPad (10.5 inches), which is only slightly more powerful than the iPad Air 2 iPad Pro with ProMotion display, which is only a bit larger than its predecessor model (10.5 inches), but has significantly more screen surface – this was made possible by the reduced bezels. And a iPad Pro with 12.9 inches and the same technology. What’s still new: Both iPad Pro models now have four GB of RAM and up to 512 GB of storage.

2016

This year the company presented a smaller one iPad Pro variant with 9.7 inches and true tone display technology to the public. Particularly noteworthy is the integrated 12-megapixel camera – this means that live photos can now also be taken. Available in the colors silver, gold, rose gold and space gray, customers can choose between 32, (only with WLAN) 128 and 256 GB for this iPad.

2015

With an unprecedented size of 12.9 inches it did iPad Pro Talking about yourself for the first time in 2015. Due to its enormous screen diagonal, the huge tablet should primarily appeal to those customers who want to use the iPad for drawing. Along with this, you can buy an Apple Pencil separately for the tablet in order to get the most out of your mobile PC. 2014

That year it appeared iPad mini 3which – in contrast to its predecessor – only came up with a new color option and the fingerprint sensor (Touch ID). Otherwise nothing has changed in the technology. The iPad Air 2 on the other hand, it received a powerful upgrade thanks to the triple-core processor, which was installed by Apple for the first time. The iPhone 6 came out in parallel, but to everyone’s amazement, it didn’t have the same processor as the iPad (which was usually common). The working memory of the Air 2 has been increased to two gigabytes.

2013

The year of birth of the iPad Air: Equipped with a more powerful 64-bit processor and thus twice faster than the previous model, but the design has been adapted to the iPad mini. The iPad mini 2 with Retina display and A7 chipset also appeared in 2013 and was marketed as a smaller and above all cheaper counterpart to the iPad Air.

2012

This year Apple brought that iPad 3 with a retina display (2056 x 1536 pixels) – a tablet with the highest resolution to date. The processor remained the same as its predecessor, but the optimized graphics chip and LTE support were new. Surprisingly, that appeared just a few months later iPad 4 with a more powerful processor and the same features as its predecessor. The first was also launched in 2012 iPad mini with a 7.9 inch screen diagonal. 2011
