Queen Camilla has to say goodbye to one of her terriers. She took Beth in from an animal shelter – and gave her a special honor.
Britain’s Queen Camilla mourns the loss of one of her dogs. She adopted two Jack Russell Terriers from an animal shelter years ago – now she has to say goodbye to one of the two animals. “Sad farewell to Beth,” the Royal Family announced on their social media channels.
The animal brought the Queen a lot of joy as a beloved companion, whether on walks, public appearances or curled up in front of the fireplace, the message said. According to the British news agency PA, the animal had an incurable tumor and was euthanized at the weekend.
Immortalized on Camilla’s royal robe
Camilla had taken in the two dogs Beth and Bluebell from an animal shelter. They are even immortalized on Camilla’s coronation robe. Beth, an abandoned puppy, had been living with Camilla since 2011, PA reported.
